Former Scottish Premiership champions Rangers Glasgow Football Club, has signed a Flying Eagles invitee Thompson Ishaka.
The Scottish giants confirmed the signing of the teenager on its verified Twitter handle last Friday afternoon.
According to reports, Ishaka last year had a trial at the club after impressing in a tournament representing Brooke House Academy London; but no decision about signing him was made. He then got injured and was sidelined from competitive action.
Thompson was invited to the Flying Eagles camp ahead of an AFCON U-20 tournament in Egypt. He spent three weeks with the Junior national team but didn’t make the final list.
After leaving the national team camp, Ishaka was handed a second invitation by Rangers, this time he travelled to Morocco with the youth team for a tourney.
He was impressive, and convinced the club’s heirrachy into handing him a permanent contract.
According what was obtained from the club’s official statement, the former Riverlane of Enugu player, will spend two years with the Light Blue.

The Flying Eagles invitee most recently bagged a hat-trick against Dundee. He was also on target when Rangers exchanged tackles with Northern Irish outfit Glentoran; and also Slovakia club, MSK Zilina.
