14 Year Old Nigerian Winger Shola Named In Manchester United Squad For UCL Tie With Valencia

Jose Mourinho has drafted 14 year old Anglo-Nigerian midfielder ?Shola Shoretire into the squad for their dead rubber UEFA Champions League clash against Valencia on Wednesday.

Eligible to play for Nigeria through his parents, the winger has already trained with the U18s and 23s at Man United due to his talents which has been described as exceptional by many close to the youth set up at the club.

England are however a step ahead of Nigeria in the race for his international future as he has trained with their youth team, thanks to his impressive performance at club level the past two years.

Blessed with the ability ?to play on either flanks, Shola isn’t the only youngster picked from the U18s by Mourinho with 15 year old defender Will Fish also named in the squad for the game against bottom of the group Valencia.

Already Man United are through to the knock out stages of the competition following wins against Juventus and Young Boys in their previous fixtures. Mourinho is expected to name a number of players in the youth team of the club in the squad for the game.
