West Ham Striker Diafra Sahko Reportedly Tells Slaven Bilic of His Desire to Leave

West Ham striker Diafra Sakho has reportedly told manager Slaven Bilic that he wants to leave the Hammers this summer, according to Sky Sports.

Reports claim the 26-year-old spoke to Bilic personally over the weekend and revealed his desire to be sold during this summer's transfer window.

The Senegal international has suffered from a few niggling injuries and indifferent form that has restricted him to just 21 league appearances and a return of just 7 goals.

It's in stark contrast to the opening stages of his West Ham career where he became the first West Ham player to score in six consecutive appearances in the Premier League.

That was under former boss Sam Allardyce, who reportedly tabled an £11m bid earlier this month to try and reunite with the former Metz forward at Sunderland.

It is unclear whether Bilic had Sakho in his plans for the new season, but Bilic and the West Ham board have not been shy in disclosing their desire to sign a forward this summer.

The likes of Olympique Lyonnais striker Alexandre Lacazette, Marseille forward Michy Batshuayi and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy have all been linked with a move to the Olympic stadium next season.

Co-chairman David Sullivan revealed last month that they had five active bids in place for players but none of those have materialised yet with Liverpool's Christian Benteke high on their transfer list.
