Ghana midfielder Wakaso Mubarak has congratulated his Celtic team-mates after watching them defeat St. Johnstone 2-1 in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

The Hoops survived a late scare from Johnstone to run away with the maximum points with Leigh Griffiths and Stefan Johansen scoring in either halves at the McDiarmid Park.

Wakaso did not make the Celtic squad for the game after arriving from the AFCON tournament where he played an influential role for the Black Stars in their campaign.
