Monday night saw English football plunge to its lowest depth. Footballing minnows Iceland defeated the Three Lions 2-1 in the final last-16 game of Euro 2016 to condemn Roy Hodgson's men to their most embarrassing moment on a football pitch.
Hysteria and anger gripped a nation still reeling from the controversial 'Brexit' result prior to a display which perfectly summed up England's inept understanding of international football.
"?Speaking on talkSPORT radio, football journalist Adrian Durham went on a mammoth rant, perfectly encapsulating the entire countries thoughts and delivering them in what could perhaps be summed up as an angry linguistic masterclass.
Hodgson himself received much of the criticism from Durham, who openly challenged the entire England set up as well, including the likes of Ray Lewington and Gary Neville who are both of cause partly to blame.
The players themselves are of course targeted to by the journalist's passionate speech, with their commitment to the badge, lack of delivery on the big stage and seeming lack of self-belief the hot topics of choice by Durham.
Hodgson's resignation followed shortly after the shock result, leaving the FA to begin rebuilding this tattered project. Durham's full rant can be watched below:
