Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is looking forward to a new chapter in his career after making his debut appearance at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia

Uzoho was in goal for Nigeria in all of their three group games against Croatia, Iceland and Argentina, kept just one clean sheet and conceded four goals.

The 19 year old made six important saves for Nigeria’s Super Eagles during the tournament.

“I learn from the past, but never sit down thinking about the past. A new season so will a new chapter in my career begin.FORZA DEPOR IN CHRIST ALONE,” Uzoho tweeted on Monday.

Uzoho has made nine international appearances for the Super Eagles keeping two clean sheets since he made a second half debut for the Three time African Champions in their 4-2 win over Argentina in Krassnodar last November.

He is expected to rejoin his Spanish Segunda team Deportivo La Coruna for pre-season in the coming days.
