The first completed section of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium became accessible to the public on Tuesday morning as the north Londoners opened the largest club shop in Europe, though a date for the stadium opening is still to be finalised.
The club hope the stadium will be finished before Christmas, with a match against Burnley on Dec. 15 the last home game before the holiday period.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino said in September he was assured that the stadium will open before Christmas, while chairman Daniel Levy told the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust that the rising costs of the new stadium will not effect the club's transfer budget.

The opening of the shop is nonetheless a sign of progress.
Measuring 23,000 square feet, the store on Tottenham High Road at the south end of the new ground opened its doors at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
It contains a 100-seat auditorium featuring a 36-screen video wall which will host events before and after matches, plus special appearances and promotions.
The shop is part of the Tottenham Experience, where other visitor attractions will be offered when the construction project is completed, including stadium tours, a sky walk, the club museum and archive, and it is all housed inside the repurposed Grade II listed Warmington House.

The club also said that an update on the stadium will be made public in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are reminding supporters travelling to Eindhoven for Wednesday's Champions League match that they must collect their tickets in person at the Philips Stadion.
"The decision to implement this policy is a result of security advice received in respect of this fixture from both the Metropolitan Police and Dutch authorities, as well as following disturbances on our previous visit to Eindhoven in 2008," the club said in a statement.
