"?Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he could 'one day' take on the England national coach position, however he insists he remains focused on his role at White Hart Lane.

Since the sacking of Sam Allardyce following several revelations of breaching FA regulations as a result of an entrapment interview by the Telegraph, a list of names has began to grow as to who could replace the former Sunderland boss in the England hot seat, and the Argentine sees no reason why he couldn't take the job at some point in the future.

According to the "?Evening Standard, Pochettino spoke of the importance of timing with such a big move in management: "Yes, why not? In the "?future-future'. Not now, it's impossible, as I signed a new five-year contract here earlier this year.

"It is not my moment. Not only is it not the moment here, but the same is true of Argentina (his home country), too."?

In regards to whether the search for a new boss for the national side could distract certain players, Pochettino added: "The players need to be focused on Tottenham, and then we will see. They need to focus on playing against Manchester City.

"The FA are in a different moment now, finding another manager to take charge of English football."

Pochettino's side are preparing to take on Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, who currently have a 100% record in the Premier League as of yet. However, should Spurs find a result against City at White Hart Lane, they will only be one point behind Pep's men ahead of the upcoming international break.
