Nigerian striker Theophilus Solomon has finally terminated his ?contract with Croatian outfit HNK Rijeka bringing to an end a frustrating four year spell at the club.

Solomon joined Rijeka on a professional deal in 2014 and after the first two years of his stay he was forced to extend his deal by the club against the wish of his representatives.

What followed the extension has been three consecutive loan spells with last season the most intriguing as he spent time on loan with Partizan Belgrade in the first half of the season before ending the season in Cyprus with Omonia Nicosia.

He returned back to Rijeka in the summer and after the club priced him out of a move to newly promoted German second division side Paderborn, the 22 year old finally got his wish to end his association with the club.

Inter Zapresic benefited from his decision to terminate his deal at Rijeka which has two years to run and the forward has already started life at the club with a bang with two goals in four games for the club.
