Probable Lineups
Ghana Team News:
- Ghana were hit with the injury of young striker Majeed Waris not long before the tournament started, in a slight blow to their plans if first choice striker Asamoah Gyan gets injured.
- Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince-Boateng were left out of the squad, whilst Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is also injured, much to the dismay of the Ghana fans
- Avram Grant has been trialling a new formation in the friendlies ahead of the tournament, playing three at the back, so we are likely to see this put into action as the Israeli tries to make a mark on this team.
Senegal Team News:
- Saido Mane will be the big loss for Senegal, expected to miss the first couple of games through injury.
- Henri Saivet is the obvious man to deputise, but whether manager Alain Giresse decides to pick one of his many talented strikers remains to be seen.
