Spanish publication, Marca, reports that the provincial district attorney's office of Granada has requested a two-year prison term and a fine of 3,000 Euros for Ighalo, his ex-Granada teammate, Diego Buonanotte, and 93 others for allegedly bribing their way to pass a driving test.

According to the provisional writing of the prosecution, in 2012 and 2013 someone was hired to write the exams for Ighalo and the other accused.
