Newly invited Super Eagles midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali said he is unsure over his future at Manchester City despite his fine performances for his loan side Sogndal, which has earned him a call up to the senior national team of Nigeria.
Speaking to the print version of authoritative Nigerian newspaper Sportinglife, Nawakali who is in the squad of Nigeria for games against Algeria and Argentina said a decision will depend on what Man City have in store for him.
” I don’t know anything about my future yet, I hope to wait till the end of the season before knowing what Manchester City have in store for me”, the 22 year old told Sportinglife.
Since joining the Etihad outfit, Nwakali has been farmed out on loan for the past five seasons with spells at Girona and Malaga failing to help him break into the City team.
However last season he showed glimpse of his potential while on loan to Norwegian side Start, a form which earned him another loan move to another Norwegian team in Sogndal, where he has grown into one of the influential players of the team.
