Sports Minister Mahama Ayariga says the Black Stars must win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

Ghana face Group opponents at the tournament against Algeria, South Africa and Senegal.

The Ghana Football Association has tasked newly appointed coach Avram Grant to “do well” but Ayariga thinks the team can go for the ultimate.

“I like millions of Ghanaians insist the Black Stars must win the AFCON,” Ayariga told Accra based Joy FM.

“We have qualified for the competition and I insist we have what it takes to win it.

“Its unfair on the coach since he will be spending a little over two weeks with the team but we all want the trophy.”

GHANA WILL NOT WIN AFCON IF YOU ARE SITTING IN YOUR OFFICE AND MAKING DECISIONS WITHOUT PLAYERS CONSULTATION.

Ayariga shouldn't but undue pressure on the coach and the players. He should tell us one special thing he has added to the Black Stars that makes him think that the Stars would win the nations cup?
