Spain's Alvaro Morata Living a 'Dream' After Scoring Twice Against Turkey

"?After grabbing a brace in Spain's 3-0 win over Turkey, Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has said "he's living a dream."

Morata started up front for the European champions despite attracting criticism for his performance in Spain's first game against the Czech Republic, but the 23-year-old is delighted that he was able to prove critics wrong with his latest display.

Morata told "?UEFA.com: "I'm very happy about how it went, very happy about the goals and very happy to be here. I used to watch all of Spain's matches on TV, and now being here and playing with the team is a dream for me.

Álvaro Morata: Only Gameiro (9) & Batshuayi (9) have scored more goals from sub apps in Europe's top 5 leagues since Aug '14 than Morata (8)

"They said the strikers weren't scoring, but things were good here and we've worked hard for it. We were up against a tough team. There's a wonderful atmosphere in the squad, we get on very well and you can see that on the pitch."

Morata has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Real Madrid expected to pay the forward's buy-back clause and then sell him on for profit.

Morata, who was mostly used as a substitute for Juventus last season in Serie A, scored seven goals in 34 league appearances.
