Nigerian striker Nicholas Okoro has penned a new deal with EFL Championship side Birmingham City.

The 16-year-old will no longer take football as a hobby, but an occupation, as he has appended his signature to a two-year scholarship deal with the Blues, with effect from July 1, 2017.

Last Friday, Okoro finally put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at St Andrew's until 2019, after weeks of negotiations.

The former West Brom Academy starlet is presently training with Birmingham City's U18s, and is in line to travel to Portugal for a training camp in the coming days.

Nicholas's father, Ejikeme Fabian Okoro, played for famous Nigerian club Enugu Rangers.
