On 22 August 1926 Juventus won their second Scudetto by beating Alba Roma in the final. The bianconeri had dominated the championship of the Northern League and in the final they faced Alba Roma who had instead been champion of the south.

In the first leg Juve won 7-1 while on the 22nd August they won 5-0. The Juventus team was made up of players of the caliber of Combi (goalkeeper considered one of the best of the pre-war period), Virginio Rosetta (defender) and Federico Munerati (forward).

The Hungarian Jeno Karoly remained on the bench until July 1926, when he died of a heart attack: his place was taken by another Hungarian, Jozsef Viola.
