Sarpsborg Usman Mohammed Explains Reasons Behind Failed Move To LaLiga Giants Barcelona

The representative of Sarpsborg of Norway midfielder Tijjani Babangida has exclusively reveal to Owngoalnigeria.com why the proposed move of his client Usman Muhammed ?to Barcelona fell through.

Usman joined Sarpsborg last month despite impressing the technical crew of Barcelona ?during a short trial which ended with the club giving him their words that he would be signed.

According to Babangida, Barcelona left Usman with no choice but to move on with his career after they failed to match their words with action, as they refused to give a specific date when the midfielder who starred for Nigeria at the Olympics in Rio will resume at the at the club.

” Usman had trials with Barcelona and the club were impressed with his performance. Verbally they told us he will join them when the resume for the start of this season. He was already being treated like a player of the club”, Babangida told Owngoalnigeria.com in an exclusive chat.

” Usman went shopping with the players of the B team. He bonded well with his teammates and at the end of last season he returned to Nigeria with Barcelona expected to communicate to us when he will resume fully at the club.

” However days turned into weeks, weeks into months and we contacted them. They asked us to hang on. We got tired of waiting for them after the first three months of the season. I can proudly tell you that till date Barcelona didn’t say they won’t be signing Usman, he left because he has move on with his career “, Babangida concluded.
