Jurgen Klopp questions Gareth Southgate's selection policy after Sturridge and Oxlade-Chamberlain's omission from the England squad.
LONDON -- Sadio Mane is a surprise starter for Liverpool in their encounter with West Ham United on Saturday evening.
Mane has been sidelined since October with a hamstring issue sustained on international duty and only returned to full training on Thursday.
Speaking at his prematch news conference on Friday, manager Jurgen Klopp estimated that the forward "looked like he is ready for at least 20-25 minutes", but he has since been included in Liverpool's starting XI at the London Stadium.
Meanwhile, captain Jordan Henderson is not part of the matchday squad, having been ruled out through injury.
Henderson came on as a substitute after 17 minutes in the midweek win over Maribor when he replaced the injured Georginio Wijnaldum.
Full Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Klavan, Moreno, Can, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Mane, Firmino.
