Russian side Rubin Karzan have seen their bid to sign Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed fall through despite the player’s interest in moving on.

Rabiu joined Kuban Krasnodar in 2012 from French side Evian where his stock rose, making him one of the most sought after midfielders in the French League 1.

The 25 year old has struggled to get in, with injuries and dip in form restricting him to the bench for the most part of last season.

Rubin Karzan however sort to tempt him with a new challenge of crossing carpet but newly appointed head coach Dmitry Khokhlov has turned down the opportunity to cash in on the Ghanaian.
