Sadiq arrived England yesterday and spent a night before departing for Scotland earlier today where he is schedule to have a medical before the completion of the move.

He will sign a season long loan deal. His third loan spell in three seasons since his breakthrough at the club in 2016, same year where he finished as top scorer for Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympic.

Last season he had two separate loan spells, first with Torino before terminating the deal in January for another loan move to Dutch side NAC Breda, where he scored six goals in ten league games to help them beat the drop.

The lure of working with former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard swayed him to agree on a move to the Scottish side despite interest in his services from teams in Belgium, Holland and Italy.
