Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has revealed that Nigeria will play two friendly matches against 2017 AFCON teams Senegal and Ghana in London next month (March).

The Franco-German coach confirmed these fixtures in a chat with the Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye on the team’s official YouTube account.

“Senegal, one of the strongest teams in Africa will play us in March and also we are to play Ghana too who were fourth at the last Nations Cup in Gabon. Senegal will help us play against Cameroon, but the game against Ghana will shape us up for the cracker against South Africa.”

“We will use the two games to see some new players in some key positions. We don’t play these games for results, that is not to necessarily win but to see our team and the new players,” said Rohr.
