"?Phil Jagielka believes Everton's squad will be overhauled in the summer after an underwhelming campaign finally drew to a close at the weekend.
Despite boasting the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and John Stones, Everton have slumped to a mid-table finish and manager Roberto Martinez was given the axe last week.
The Toffees have slipped down the table in each of the last two seasons and the club's supporters are praying that whoever takes over can reverse their ailing fortunes.
21 - Roberto Martinez won 21 Premier League games in his 1st season in charge at Everton - he won 22 in his next two seasons combined. Fade.
However, Jagielka expects it will be a massive rebuildng job as several high-profile stars are likely to be shown the exit door this summer.
Speaking to "?The Guardian, the 33-year-old said: "There is going to be a lot of change in the playing squad. I am not sure the squad is going to be big enough for the start of next season with the people who are leaving.
"It is a case of the club deciding what sort of squad and formula they want to go for both on the pitch and off the pitch. That will determine what manager they want.
"I am not sure exactly what will go on but there could be double figures leaving, which is a lot. We are not talking about the young lads either. We are talking about established first-team players.
"It is going to be a big change of personnel and that will play a part in who will get the chance to manage the club."
Jagielka was snubbed by Roy Hodgson for this summer's European Championships and he can now relax on holiday before facing a decision about his Goodison Park future.
