Suswam, who has played for the Nigeria U20, U23 and the Super Eagles, has signed a two-year contract with Plateau United.

“I joined Plateau United to play on the continent and to play for a team where both the coaches and the players have a winning mentality, that was why I played for Enyimba last season,” revealed Suswam, who has previously played for Wikki Tourists and Lobi Stars.

The former Eagles defender has featured in Portugal and Poland, but he said he will not rush back to Europe unless the offer was right.

“I am not in hurry to go back to Europe, I played in Europe for six years. If a suitable offer came, I will go, but not to go to Europe to play for peanuts,” he maintained.
