Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen is expected to start the pre-season with Napoli next week, despite rumors linking him to several top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, Nigeriasoccerrnet.com reports.

New Napoli coach Antonio Conte may meet with Osimhen in Castel Volturno next week, as no European club has yet made a formal offer to secure the striker's services. Osimhen's contract with Napoli includes a €130m release clause, but so far, no club has made an official bid.

Although Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United have been linked to the 25-year-old striker, no concrete offers have been made.

Napoli's valuation of €130m appears to be a stumbling block, and even if the price is lowered to €100m, it may be challenging to find a suitable buyer.

Conte is prepared to part ways with Osimhen, but if no club makes a move in the next few days, the striker will be required to start the pre-season with Napoli on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

Osimhen's future at Napoli remains uncertain, with the striker's agent reportedly working to resolve his client's situation before the start of the pre-season.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Osimhen according to FootballItalia is expected to join Napoli for pre-season training next week, unless a last-minute transfer materializes.
