Two Nigerian players created similar impacts at different bases in Europe, as Eddy Ogenyi Onazi made hay with Trabzonspor of Turkey and Paul Onuachu dazzled for FC Midtjylland in Denmark.
Onazi had an assist for Trabzonspor in their 3-0 home win against Antalyaspor in the Turkish top flight on Monday. Onazi, who was on for 90 minutes in the game, provided the assist for Trabzonspor’s first goal scored by Burak Yilmaz in the 41st minute.

The game was Onazi’s 10th, scoring one goal in the league this season and the win helped take his side to eighth position on 22 points in the 18-team league table.
Same evening, this time in the Danish first division, Onuachu helped Midtjylland defeat visiting OB Odense 3-1.
While Onuachu was introduced to the game in the 62nd minute, his Nigerian teammate at the Hernin-based club, Rilwan Hassan was an unused substitute.
