Omeruo Thankful For Successful Loan Spell At Kasimpasa

Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has thanked Kasimpasa for his successful loan spell at  the Turkish Super Lig (top flight) club.

Omeruo returned to Kasimpasa on a second loan move from Chelsea on August 2017, after first joining them in the 2015/2016 season.

Omeruo has made 28 league appearances So far this season, scoring one goal. He made 25 league appearances in his first spell with Kasimpasa.

Commenting ahead of Kasimpasa’s last game of the season away to third-placed Istanbul Basaksehir on Sunday, Omeruo expressed hope that the club will finsih in a better position next season.

“I want to say a big thanks to players, staffs, and management of Kasimpasa sk for believing in my abilities as a player… and the coach for helping me achieve my personal goal this season.. I am grateful and wish this amazing club a much better position next season..” the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner wrote on his Instagram page.

Kasimpasa are currently 10th on 46 points in the 18-team league table.

Omeruo has been included in the Super Eagles’ 30-man provisional squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
