The Dream Team VI are currently in Gambia, fine-tuning their preparations for the tournament, which will serve as qualifier for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.

Nigeria’s first game is against Mali on November 29 and Olubayo says they are not scared of facing any African heavyweight.

“Dream Team don’t think about avoiding the best countries, we think about being prepared to do our job against anyone if we want to be champions of Africa and also grab an Olympic ticket,” Olulayo told Goal.

“Whether we face Mali or Egypt, our ambition is to be in Rio. We will respect every team we face because they never qualified for this competition on a platter of gold.

“Coach Samson Siasia has sounded it clear to us that we must aim for the title and that has been our target and nothing else.

“There is a big prestige representing Africa at the Olympics as champions. We are very unwavering and ready to give everything to win all matches in Senegal.”
