The dream to play at next year’s World Cup will fire up the Super Eagles to beat Zambia on Saturday in Uyo, according to striker Odion Ighalo.

“It’s not going to be an easy game, but going to the World Cup is enough motivation for us, we are going to win by God’s grace on Saturday,” said China-based striker Ighalo, who opened scoring to inspire Nigeria to a 4-0 home win over African champions Cameroon last month. Ighalo was the first player to hit the Eagles camp ahead of the all-important game against Zambia, adding that playing at home will be an additional advantage.

“We are determined, we playing at home and we know what it takes to win the game because this is our ground, we want to win and go to the World Cup,” said the former Watford star.
