Nwakali Set For Arsenal Move

The 18-year-old has been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium since the start of the year and he claimed in March to have signed a five-year deal.

Arsenal are yet to confirm the transfer but, according to Reports in nigeria, it is just a few details away from being done.

Nwakali will jet out of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos tonight and arrive in north London tomorrow.

He will then cross the t's and dot the i's on a contract until 2021.

It is expected Nwakali will be sent out on loan if his bid to secure a work permit is rejected by the Home Office.

Nwakali - who reportedly attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and West Ham - captained Nigeria to Under-17 World Cup glory last year.

He will become the Gunners' fourth signing this summer after Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano and Rob Holding.
