NPFL UPDATE: Plateau United Aim To Stay Unbeaten While MFM Welcome Pillars

Plateau United will seek to maintain their unbeaten streak in the Nigeria Professional Football League when they confront Abia Warriors at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos on Sunday.

The Jos- based club have won three and drawn one of their opening four games this season.

 A win will see them consolidate their position at the top of the log.

Champions Enugu Rangers will be at home to Niger Tornadoes at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium.

The two teams have won only once this season but it is the visitors who head into the game in more confident mood following their 2-0 win against Wikki Tourists in midweek.

Rivers United, another side who are yet to taste defeat this season with two wins and two draws, will host Lobi Stars at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Lobi Stars have lost their two away games this season and are yet to score on their travels.

Struggling teams  Wikki Tourists and FC Ifeanyiubah will do battle at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.

Wikki have recorded a solitary win this season same as the Anambra Warriors.

Former champions, Enyimba will keep a date with Nasarawa United at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.

At the Kwara Stadium Complex, ABS FC will hope to return to winning ways again when they  face struggling Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.

The Saraki Boys lost for the first time this season against Lobi Stars on Wednesday, while 3SC are without a win in their last three games.

All eyes will be on Abdul Maikaba and his Akwa United team as they bid to record their first win of the campaign against Katsina United at the Muhammadou Dikko Stadium.

The Promise Keepers have drawn two and lost two of their opening four games.

Underfire Remo Stars coach, Nduka Ugbade, will be in the spotlight once again when his team take on El-Kanemi Warriors at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.

Gombe United and Sunshine Stars will clash at the Pantami Stadium in their last fixture for the weekend.
