NPFL: Kwara United gear up for new Season, target continental ticket

Kwara United have declared its readiness for the upcoming 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season aiming for a continental spot, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Following the release of the season's fixtures, the club’s General Manager Bashir Badawiy, expressed the team's ambition to secure a continental ticket by finishing among the top three.

The Afonja Warriors finished 13th in the league last season but are optimistic of a memorable campaign.

“We are battle-ready for the NPFL, and the club, this time around, is also aspiring to end the season as one of the top three finishers,” he told the club’s media.

Kwara United meanwhile will face Niger Tornadoes in their opening match on August 31, 2024, when the new season kicks off.
