The tournament which is designed to decide the team that emerges champions of the NNL season had been put off two times.

This was due to flood mishap which ravaged the host state leading to earlier postponement of the event billed for 16th to 22nd October. It was rescheduled for 25-29 October 2022 at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenegoa in Bayelsa State before suffering another delay.

Reports right now indicate the start of the tournament from 14th to 19th November, 2022.

According to the source “we have concluded on the 14th of November and it will end on the 19th. The clubs would be informed about this soon, but to have things finalized on time and enable the teams involved enough space to prepare for the NPFL, that date is the best for us now.”
