General secretary of the Nigeria National League ad-hoc committee Alloy Chukwuemeka has reiterated that the new season will go ahead as planned on the 28th of May after the initial postponement from the 7th May.
Chukwuemeka told footballlive.ng that the financial crunch has undoubtedly slowed things down with the preparation of the clubs especially by those financed by Governments.
The League Chief assured that all logistics are in place and tailored to ensure that the league commence this weekend.
