Nigerian Youngster Bonaventure Grabs The Headlines In Ukraine With Debut Goal

18 year old Nigerian forward Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis was the talk of Ukraine owing to his goal for top division side Zorya on his competitive debut for the team in their 3-0 thrashing of Olimpik Donetsk in one of the opening games of the 2016/2017 Ukraine Premier League.

Dennis as reported by Owngoalnigeria.com started off at Football Academy Abuja before he was spotted by scouts of Zorya where he has been since the start of the year took just 19 minutes to make his mark by scoring his team opening goal.

He showed pace, power and composure to bury his effort, a trait he is well known for during his days with the Abuja Academy and as reported by Owngoalnigeria.com during pre season with Zorya.

The manner in which he took his goals saw him made the headlines in various tabloids and publications in Ukraine who were unanimous in praising his impact with some even going as far as saying the league is about to unearth a star in the Nigerian.

However what would have been a perfect day for him ended with the forward being booked in the 19th minute when he scored for excessive celebrations when he scored and he got substituted in the 54th minute.
