Arsenal played an entertaining 2-2 draw with Fulham in an U18 Premier League match at Shenley Training Centre on Saturday afternoon, with two Nigerian talents scoring for their respective teams.

Gunners versatile defender Tobi Omole was deployed at left back and did go the distance along with Xavier Amaechi, while Tammy Abraham's brother Timmy started for the Cottagers.

Fulham were two goals to the good at the interval thanks to strikes from José Garrido and Timmy Abraham.

When it seemed that Fulham were coasting to victory, Xavier Amaechi reduced the deficit 12 minutes into the second half before Arsenal grabbed an equalizer on 80 minutes.

Amaechi, who penned his first professional contract with Arsenal last week, has now scored in each of his last five games for the U18s.

The run began on November 25, 2017 when he notched a brace against Tottenham Hotspur, before his goals against Stoke City, Swansea City, Sheffield Wednesday (2) and Fulham.

Nigerian midfielder James Olayinka was named among the Arsenal substitutes
