Nigerian Midfielder Signs New Contract With Tottenham Hotspur

Through a statement on their official website Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Hertfordshire-born Nigerian midfielder Luke Amos has signed a new contract with the club until the summer of 2019.

In addition, the Premier League side announced that the 20-year-old will spend the remainder of this season on loan at League Two club Stevenage.

This is the second time Amos has been loaned out by the capital outfit, having spent the second half of last season at Southend United.

Stevenage have sorted out the defensive midfielder's paperwork and he can make his debut for his new employer in Tuesday's League Two clash against Swindon Town at The Lamex Stadium.

In December, Amos was an unused substitute for the first team of Tottenham in their Champions League match against APOEL Nicosia  at Wembley Stadium.

He has captained Tottenham's U23 team several times this season.
