Nigerian international Theophilus Solomon Arrives In Cyprus To Complete Loan Move To Omonia Nicosia

Former Partizan Belgrade forward Theophilus Solomon has been issued a travelling visa to Cyprus where he will join Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia on loan for the rest of the season.

Omonia beat Apollon Limassol to his signing after his parent club HNK Rijeka of Croatia recalled him from Partizan Belgrade where he spent the first half of the season on loan.

Solomon wasn’t given any assurances that he will have regular game time, hence his decision to push for another loan move away from the club, and despite interest from Apollon Limassol he has settled for Omonia Nicosia.

He was supposed to arrive the country two days back but visa issues delayed his coming, he is however expected to arrive Cyprus today via Bulgaria after getting his visa yesterday.

Although he failed to score during his five months stay with Partizan Belgrade, he did manage to play a role for the team during their Europa League campaign ?, especially in the game which sealed their qualification for the knock out rounds.

The 22 year old will spend the rest of the season on loan with the Cypriot giants before returning back to Rijeka, the team he joined as a 17 year old five years ago from Football Academy Abuja.
