Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of Nigerian goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel, Soccer Laduma confirms.

A source close to the Buccaneers has confirmed to the Siya crew that Daniel has received his papers to enable the completion of his registration.

“The goalkeeper has received his work permit. He has been registered. He could start playing before the end of the season,” said the source.

The highly-rated shot-stopper has been training under the watchful eye of coach Kjell Jonevret and his technical team at Pirates.

Daniel joined Pirates as a free agent, following the expiry of his contract with Nigerian club Enugu Rangers.

It is believed that he has taken the foreign space freed by Edwin Gyimah in Bucs’ squad. Gyimah, whose departure from Pirates was confirmed by the club in February, has since landed a deal with Helsingborg in Sweden, as reported by the Siya crew.
