Chelsea star Victor Moses has picked his goal against Shakhtar Donetsk during the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League season as one of his favourite moments in football.
In a 30-second Pepsi promo video posted on his official Twitter handle on Monday, the 27-year-old Super Eagles star described how he came on as a late substitute to help Chelsea rally back from a 2-1 goal deficit to win 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.
“We were losing 2-1 and I came on, then we scored and I scored a dying minute goal,” Moses recounted.
“As soon as the cross came in I was at the right place at the right time. I headed the ball in. It was great for me and for the club as well.
“I call it one of the best moments I have ever experienced ever in football.”
He also wrote beneath the video: “Buzzing to join the 2018 Pepsi team; from Europe to Africa to the World! Here’s a look back at one of my favourite UEFA champions League moments.”
Moses is expected to be back in Chelsea’s starting line-up against Barcelona at Camp Nou on Wednesday after he was rested in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in an English Premier League game.
The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw by Barcelona at Stamford Bridge from the first leg.
