Man Utd Fans Show Their Rage After 99% Approve of Wayne Rooney Being Dropped

"?Manchester United fans who took part in a poll on "?Red Issue which questioned whether Wayne Rooney should be dropped, overwhelmingly approved of his demotion, with a whopping 99%.  


The Manchester United fan poll opened after Jose Mourinho's side were rocked by Watford in a 3-1 defeat, with 99.08% of those taking part calling for the England star to be dropped.

The defeat at Vicarage road was the Red Devils third in a week after losing the Manchester Derby last weekend, before Feynoord took an early three points in the Europa League against them on Thursday.


The England and Manchester United captain was poor in a three man midfield, having no influence on the game and failing to dictate the attack as he has done in years gone by, which was a common theme in all three of those loses.


After numerous poor performances it's not only his own fans calling for his head with plenty of pundits also blasting his poor displays on the pitch.

Manchester United face Northampton in the EFL cup on Wednesday before a return to Old Trafford on Saturday as they host current league holders Leicester, before another midweek match-up in the Europa League.


It is likely rotation will see him see him sit out the EFL cup clash, but Rooney may be fearing for his place as Mourinho will be desperate to return to winning ways and isn't afraid to drop star players.


Speaking after their "?narrow win over Hull last month Mourinho said: ''I can take him out. No problem for me to take him out. No problem for him to be out.''
