"?Manchester City midfielder Fernando has revealed which Premier League player he enjoyed watching growing up and has chosen his favourite moment of 2016.
The 29-year-old has been at the Etihad for two-and-a-half-years but hasn't always been a permanent feature in the side and is often seen as a back up option to fellow Brazilian Fernandinho.
The defensive midfielder made a name for himself at Porto, where he made over 150 appearances for the Dragons in a seven year period.
But whilst he spent much of his career developing away from England, Fernando admits he has always been an avid watcher of the Premier League and has revealed to "?Man City TV which player he admired as a youngster.

In an interview, the Brazilian said: "I remember a lot of Juninho Paulista, he played at Middlesbrough.
"He was a little player but he had the physical skills and the talent to play in a demanding competition like the Premier League. He was very quick, I like him very much."
With the new year just days away, Fernando was then asked to reflect on 2016 and was tasked with choosing his favourite Premier League moment, to which he replied: "The most special moment was winning against Manchester United in the Manchester derby. We played a great game and it was very special win for us."
Having made 18 appearances so far this season, Fernando looks set to have his best campaign to date with City and could well feature in his team's next match, which sees them travel to Anfield to face fellow title rivals Liverpool.
