Man City Set to Resurrect Their Long Standing Pursuit of Arsenal Star in the Summer

"?The former Barcelona full-back Hector Bellerin is reportedly a key target for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

The "?Daily Star suggest the Manchester club will continue their interest for the Spanish international, after they were heavily speculated to bring the player in to the Etihad last summer.

Bellerin opted to extend his stay with Arsenal instead of moving to Premier League rivals Manchester City. This has not put Guardiola off attempting to sign the player.

Bellerin is just one of the defenders on Pep's radar, as he looks to improve his squad for next season.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager apparently has his eyes on Southampton defence Virgil van Dijk, as well as Juan Bernat and Jose Gaya.

There is talk that Guardiola is likely to offload a number of players at the end of the season. Including Willy Caballero, Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Jesus Navas.

Although Yaya Toure has recently worked his way back into the side after his fall out earlier in the season, he is likely to depart in the summer.

CIty's high profile loanes could be moved on permanently by Guardiola, including England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who is currently as Serie A side Torino.

Other loanees Samir Nasri, Eliaquim Mangala and Wilfried Bony could also see their time at the Etihad come to an end.
