Mahraz Leads Africa Top Scorer

 Algerian Riyad Mahrez scoring a crucial goal for English Premier League leaders Leicester City. Winger Mahrez gave the Foxes a 1-0 win at Watford, extending their lead over Tottenham Hotspur to five points with nine rounds left.                                                                                                                        Mahrez netted for the 15th time this season as Leicester won 1-0 at Watford as the Algeria star gathered a headed clearance, shifted the ball to his left and bent a left-foot shot into the top-left corner from the edge of the box.                                                                                     Senegalese Mame Biram Diouf and Diafra Sakho, Burkinabe Bertrand Traore and four-time African Footballer of the Year Yaya Toure from Ivory Coast were other EPL scorers.                                     Traore scored for the fourth time in five appearances as champions Chelsea drew 1-1 at home to Stoke City. The 20-year-old Burkina Faso international, gathered a pass from Nemanja Matic, turning and neatly firing home from 20 yards. Senegalese striker Diouf earned Mark Hughes’s side a share of the spoils with an 85th-minute equaliser at Stamford Bridge.                                                   The former Manchester United man headed home after Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois failed to get enough purchase on a punch from Xherdan Shaqiri’s cross.
