Serbian coach, Ljupko Petrovic has joined the race for the Super Eagles coaching job after Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, made it clear that they are keen on hiring foreign coach for the senior national team.

Petrovic, 68, won the 1991 UEFA Champions League title with Red Star Belgrade after overcoming Olympique Marseille of France 5-3 on penalties after a full time 0-0 in the final decided on May 29 at Stadio San Nicola in Bari, Italy.

He assisted Mirko Jozic in 1987 when former Yugoslavia (now Serbia) won the FIFA U-20 World Youth Championship in Chile.

Fellow Serbian gaffer and current Cranes of Uganda manager, Milutin Sredojevic, is touted as being in top consideration list of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has reportedly been in talks with Sredojevic's representatives concerning the Super Eagles coaching job.

Former Nigeria Dutch managers, Clemens Westerhof and Bonfrere Jo, are also understood to have equally indicated interest in returning to their former duty posts with Nigeria as preparation for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers get underway soon.
