The Nigerian provided an inch perfect lay off for Dorin Rotariu to put his team ahead but Isaac Kiese Thelin ensured both teams go into the break level when he levelled matters for his team on the half-time mark.

Floriano Vanzo gave Waasland-Beveren the lead in the game for the first time in the 65th minute. A lead they hanged onto till two minutes to regulation time when Selim Amallah rescued a point for Mouscron.
