RMC report that Ligue 1 side Bordeaux have told 36-year-old French striker Jimmy Briand that he should find a new club before the end of this summer transfer window.
Briand, who has another 12 months remaining on his existing contract, is considering approaches from the Middle East but would be open to staying in Ligue 1 if an opportunity presents itself.
With Ui-Jo Hwang, Sékou Mara and future signing Alberth Ellis from Boavista, FCGB feel well-stocked without Briand. They also have Josh Maja to shift too.
