Latest FIFA Rankings – Super Eagles Still 38 in The World, 4th In Africa

Nigeria senior national team maintained their position in the latest FIFA Rankings released by world soccer governing body,?despite the 0-2 loss suffered by the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their last competitive game against South Africa in Uyo.

The Super Eagles pulled 730 points to maintain their spot of 38 in th?e global standings, and 4th in Africa only behind Egypt who are number one in Africa, while Senegal and Cameroon occupy the 2nd and 3rd position respectively.

Conquerors of the Super Eagles of Nigeria South Africa gained 547 but still stayed rooted to the 65th spot they occupied last month, which leaves them as the 12th placed nation on the African continent.

Globally Brazil are still ranked as the number one football nation in the world for the month of July while Argentina, Germany, Chile, Colombia and France complete the top five.
