KV Kortrijk Set To Unveil Ezekiel Today

Belgian side, KV Kortrijk will unveil Super Eagles forward Imoh Ezekiel as a player of the club today.

Ezekiel who departed the shores of Nigeria Thursday night for Belgium had agreed to join the club on a two-year deal following his release from Spanish side Las Palmas, his representative, Liameed Gafaar, told CSN.

“Imoh has finally travelled to Belgium join his new club, KV Kortrijk for the season. He is expected to be unveiled at the club on Friday (today),” Gafaar told CSN.

“The delay was down to his entry visa, and now his Schengen entry visa has been issued.”

Ezekiel will link up with compatriot Abduljaleel Ajagun at the club.

The 24 year old previously featured for Standard Liege in Belgium where he played 80 games and scored 29 goals before he moved to Al -Arabi in Qatar. He also played on a season-loan deal at Anderlecht in Belgium before he featured for Konyaspor and Las Palmas.

Ezekiel joined Las Palmas in January on a two year deal after he terminated his contract with Turkish club Konyaspor but he failed to sparkle with Spanish side who were relegated at the end of the Spanish La Liga season in May. He featured in 12 games without scoring a goal.
