Kuban Krasnodar ask FA For “Special” Permission To Unleash 17 Year Old Nigerian David Emmanuel

Russian Premier League outfit Kuban Krasnordar will later this year approach the league body in Russia to ask for a waiver for 17 year old Nigerian forward David Emmanuel to be allowed to feature for their first team.

Emmanuel who was a part of the U17 team of Manu Garba that failed to qualify for the 2017 Africa Youth Championship last year has been at the club for over three months.

The forward who was heavily linked with a move to Liverpool before the Russian side snapped him up has been very impressive for the U18 of the team, and his form has lead to talks about a possible elevation to the first team.

However due to the restrictions on the transfer of players under the age of 18, the club are hoping to obtain a waiver to register him even though he is yet to sign a professional contract with them.

The other limitation the club will encounter in their bid to fast track his promotion to the main team will be the foreign players rule in the Russian Premier League.
