Midfielder Jackson Owusu marked his Asante Kotoko debut in their 2-2 home draw with Hasaacas on Wednesday.

Owusu was handed a starting role by head coach Mas-Ud Dramani and played the entire duration.

The former Berekum Chelsea captain joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal this transfer window.

Emmanuel Asante opened scoring for Kotoko as early as the 5th minute but Amos Korankye the deficit 15 minutes later for Hasaacas.

The Giants of the West showed how serious they were not to lose the game, when Emmanuel Ankobeah put them 2-1 ahead after 37 minutes leaving Kotoko fans on tenterhooks for the rest of the game.

Just on the hour mark, substitute Dauda Mohammed brought Kotoko on level terms.

Kotoko are without a win after two matches and lie 13th on the league table.
